Pressure

Do you ever feel so pressured and confused in life that you just want to scream? Do you hold back the tears to look strong? In our society too much pressure is put on people: to get good grades, to be strong, to be independent, to have the perfect look and to be the best at everything. There is too much pressure to be perfect.
Imagine a girl your age; she is a happy bubbly person; she does well in school; has a lot of friends and she is quite pretty. She seems to have it all; she has everything you want. But she is just like you. She is scared to fail her exams and crams for every test, but she's never happy with her score. She is insecure with her weight. She pressures herself so much she crys, and screams; she applys so much pressure to herself, along with the pressure from her parents. But she will never cry infront of anyone, because she does not want to look weak, she does not want to seem uncapical. She doesn't want people to know she is pressured and needs help.
Pressure can start from other people like your parents, teachers, employer, family and friends; but over time it will come from yourself. The pressure you put on yourself is the hardest, because nothing is good enough for you.
I have spent nights crying from the pressure I have put on myself for the big and the small things. I will admit I pressure myself all the time when I shouldn't. I break myself.
But now I know I don't need to because it doesn't make anything better. Everyone needs to challenge themself in life and do need a little bit of pressure. But no one should ever go to breaking point.
Just breathe. Tell yourself it's okay, there is no need to panic, you are unique, you have different talents and quality a to everyone else around you. No one is perfect. And no one can do everything.

I know this wasn't the happiest of post, and it may not interest you all, but this is just something I had to say.
I will be posting more soon (hopefully more happy/fun posts) so please come read, if you want, whatever floats your boat.

Today's the day!

It's time to get fit.
I have never been an unhealthy person, I have been dancing since I was 3 and I try to take part in other activities. But lately I have felt like I haven't been doing enough, so today was the day I started my new exercise routine.
I started off my day by changing into my workout outfit from H and M. I then brushed my teeth and cleaned my face with the clean and clear gentle facial wash, followed by the say yes to grapefruit daily facial scrub. I finished off with my Olay essential moisturiser. I also tied my hair up in a simple cute topknot.
Next I went downstairs to make some breakfast. Today I just make a fruit smoothie with pineapple, grapes, strawberries, pear and kiwi. All of these fruits are great for your body and skin, kiwi is filled with antioxidants which are great for you in so many ways, and the pineapple helps keep your skin clear and beautiful.
Now that I was all ready, I grabbed my water and headed upstairs to work out. Today I decided to use a Workout DVD. I used Davina's the power of 3. This is such a great workout and it really can challenge you. This workout lasted about 1 hour. After this I grabbed my yoga mat and did a quick 30 minute yoga session.
After this I got ready for ballet and took part in 2 classes. I then came home showered and made myself a tune and mayonnaise jacket potato.
Today has made me feel really energised and feel 100% better. In the future I am going to change my workout a bit everytime so it doesn't become boring. But I think today was a really great workout and I am very happy with myself.
Remember if you want to workout it can be so much more fun with a friend to do it with.
Thanks for reading.
Bye chicks.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to my blog. I have never done this before, but I am really excited. My name is Anna Townsend, I'm 14 and I'm from Newcastle,England. I have wanted to start a blog for over a year now, but I kept putting it off, until now. On my birthday, last weekend, I decided it was time to start my blog and youtube channel (finally).
I haven't fully decided what my blog is going to be about. It may end up being about nothing and everything all at once. I am writing this blog for me and to express myself, so I guess this blog does have a theme it's about me and my life. I don't know how frequent my writing will be but I know that I want it too be worth while, so it might take a while for new posts.
But anyways you might want to know somethings about me (or you might not, whatever floats your boat), so here is a few facts about me.
1. I have a little Jack Russel called Poppy and a cat Called Tinker
2. I am a bit of a Disney freak
3. I love to read
4. I love all types of music except most pop music  (e.g. One Direction, Arianna Grande, Selena Gomez,Justin Beiber, 5SOS, ect)
